I kinda wanted to make Celegorm's hair silver because someone wrote something a little while ago that made me realize that if Tolkien had written 'fair' to mean 'light hair', then he would have had Miriel's silver. This is a happy medium between canonical and fanonical hair color struggles and makes me happy but I'm afraid I've gotten you all used to a blond Celegorm and no one will recognize him if I start giving him silver hair. ._.
